About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Specialist to join our team at Rise At Seven Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their finance career to the next level and work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Finance Controller in maintaining financial processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare month-end schedules, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany recharges in line with accounting standards and deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and board reports, highlighting key financial insights and trends.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies and queries in a timely manner.
  • Manage the sales ledger to ensure prompt debt recovery in accordance with the company's credit control procedure.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules, ensuring accurate records.
  • Support the completion of VAT and Corporation Tax returns, meeting external submission deadlines.
  • Drive process efficiency through continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting setting.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent is essential; CIMA part qualification or equivalent newly qualified – desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management abilities, and strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in using accounting software (Xero preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
