About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance & Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our fleet of trains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to depot operations teams to resolve technical issues and maintain contracted availability targets.
  • Support other local depots across the platform via phone to resolve technical issues, travelling to those sites when required.
  • Develop and deliver engineering changes to improve fleet/system reliability performance, reduce cost of maintenance, and deliver customer variation solutions.
  • Identify and implement safe, cost-effective, containment, and countermeasures to identified product safety issues.
  • Plan and deliver readiness for planned maintenance activities, as defined by the Vehicle Maintenance Instruction.
  • Ensure that the specified fleet maintenance regime is certificated, adhered to, and complies with all relevant legislation.
