Veterinary Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in the vibrant and growing veterinary practice, GLG Vets. As part of this dynamic environment, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working collaboratively with our team.

This full-time position is based in Haverhill, Suffolk, and comes with a competitive salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience. The role involves performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals, as well as conducting surgical procedures as needed.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on animals.
• Conducting surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and minor surgeries.
• Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff for comprehensive patient care.
• Providing guidance and advice to pet owners on animal care and wellness.
• Maintaining accurate records of patient histories and progress.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
• A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• A compassionate and caring approach to animals.
