Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Human Capital Solutions. As a key member of our Building Services team, you will be responsible for leading large-scale residential, mixed-use, and hotel projects across the UK and abroad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality electrical engineering designs and solutions.
  • Develop and implement innovative electrical engineering solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the company's growth and success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and contribute to the development of the team's skills and expertise.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure their satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Architectural and Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least eight years' experience in the built environment, working for a consultancy or similar organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality electrical engineering designs and solutions, with a strong focus on sustainability and net zero carbon design.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop multidisciplinary professional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
