Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and corrective works, including high-voltage maintenance, to ensure the continued success of our solar plants.
  2. Understand our company's obligations related to the assigned sites and ensure compliance with those obligations through monitoring and reporting.
  3. Identify and report on-site health and safety issues and implement measures to improve safety standards.
  4. Take primary responsibility for plant performance, work quality, and site appearance, ensuring both electrical and non-electrical aspects meet our expectations.
  5. Work collaboratively with other technicians to resolve work tickets efficiently and provide timely updates to project managers and seniors.
  6. Liaise with internal and external parties, including maintenance teams, subcontractors, and third-party vendors, as required.
  7. Participate in our on-call rota for non-working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

Requirements:

  1. 1 year's experience working on ground-mounted solar farms (Desirable)
  2. Experience in 3-phase solar PV system installation or ongoing maintenance (Desirable)
  3. Familiarity with Gamesa central inverters
  4. C&G 2330 level 2/3 or equivalent qualification
  5. C&G 2391 Inspection and testing certification
  6. C&G BS7671 17th/18th edition qualification
  7. Full UK driving license
  8. Computer literacy
  9. Attention to detail
  10. PV inverter technology qualifications, communications/networking qualifications, or IOSH/NEBOSH certifications (Desirable)
  11. HV qualifications AP15 or OP40 (Desirable)
  12. Right to live and work in the EU (Essential)
