We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Design Technology (DT) Technician to join our team at Remedy Education. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting the delivery of high-quality design and technology education.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Management: Prepare, maintain, and manage DT equipment, tools, and materials for lessons and projects.
- Classroom Support: Assist teaching staff with practical classroom activities, demonstrations, and student projects.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the safe use of machinery, tools, and materials, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring all tools and machines are in good working order.
- Pupil Support: Support pupils with the safe and effective use of equipment during practical sessions.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels and order supplies when necessary.
- Workshop Environment: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar DT technician role or within a workshop environment is desirable.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of DT machinery, tools, and safety procedures.
