About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chiller Engineer to join our team at ABM. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs to HVAC assets and completing planned preventative maintenance. They will also be required to complete proactive inspections and any necessary remedial repairs with a forward-thinking approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit assigned sites in line with HVAC reactive call requests and PPM Planner.
  • Carry out reactive repairs as instructed by ABM and respond within SLA to all work requests in line with client SLAs/KPIs.
  • Support the team and cover for engineers within your allocated region as directed by your Contract Manager.
  • Responsible for ordering required parts for jobs.
  • Complete risk assessments before PPM and reactive works.
  • Carry out replacements or new installations of equipment as directed, providing quotations where necessary.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with client representatives and ABM employees.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Operate client software systems, if required, to ensure efficient maintenance activities.
  • Send work reports and necessary ABM documentation to the admin team within set timescales.

Requirements
  • Clean and current driving licence.
  • AC qualifications to C&G or NVQ standard.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Ability to work to KPIs.
