About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Service Manager to join our team at Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and other support requirements to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Service Manager and team to provide high-quality support and care to individuals in their homes and the community.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social services and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to support workers to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent care.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that promote best practice in support delivery.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £24,203.92 to £24,665.68, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:

  • 20 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years) plus Bank Holidays in lieu.
  • Flexible rate choice: £12.58 - £12.82 per hour.
  • 45p per mile for using your own vehicle for work purposes.
  • £60.00 per shift for working a sleeping-in shift.
  • Enhancements for some Bank Holidays.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commitment to enabling individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleeping overnight at service users' homes.
  • A full, clean, valid UK driving license and a car with business insurance, as you will be required to use your car for work purposes.
  • A commitment to work towards a QCF in Health and Social Care.
