Job Description

Job Title: Junior Implementation Engineer, Software

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Implementation Engineer, Software to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. As a Junior Implementation Engineer, Software, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring software systems to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure software systems to meet client requirements
  • Work with the Management Team to develop optimized processes that follow best practices
  • Develop and maintain the Department's case management and other software systems
  • Work with the central IT Development team and act as project leader on Departmental development projects
  • Promote and monitor adherence to best practice standards/appropriate methodologies
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members
  • Work with the management team to analyze and recommend new software/systems
  • Document and present IT development initiatives to the firm or to clients
  • Ensure that technical issues are resolved as soon as possible
  • Communicate effectively with the Recoveries Management Team, the IT Department, and users

Information Security Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that information is handled in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures relating to information security
  • Encourage a security conscious culture within the firm
  • Proactively and promptly report any concerns/issues relating to information security

Requirements:

  • Experience of configuration of case management systems
  • MS Office applications including: Word & Excel
  • Developing, testing, and maintaining applications
  • Some project management, business analysis, and 1st line experience would also be desirable

Personal Specification:

  • A flexible individual with good planning skills and personal organisation
  • An aptitude for problem solving with a logical approach to troubleshooting
  • An accurate worker able to see tasks through to the end
  • Professional and credible, with both technical and non-technical people
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and a keen desire to learn
