Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial Property

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our esteemed energy and natural resources department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property law and be able to lead a team in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and negotiate commercial option agreements, leases, and ancillary documents.
  • Conduct due diligence on commercial property matters, including reports on title, pre-contract searches, and enquiries.
  • Advise on mitigation for title risks and defects identified.
  • Draft and negotiate options for easement, deeds of easement, licences to assign, underleases, and licences to carry out alterations and land transfers.
  • Support external counsel in reviewing and preparing certifications of title for project acquisitions and disposals.
  • Lead and supervise the development of trainees within the team.
  • Manage own workload with little supervision.
Requirements:
  • UK/IRE qualified with a minimum 3+ years PQE.
  • Experienced commercial property solicitor with extensive experience in dealing with all aspects of commercial property.
  • Good technical knowledge and commercial awareness skills.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and intermediaries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage people, multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

  • A salary range of £80,000 to £90,000 per year DOE.
