About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at AB Volvo in Harlow. As an HGV Maintenance Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicles and maintaining the high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with vehicles and equipment.
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Salary: £22 per hour dependent on experience/qualifications

Requirements:

  • Hold a City and Guilds, an NVQ3 or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry, or have equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
