About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCSE Music Examiner to join our team. As a GCSE Music Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
  • Complete all administration as specified
Requirements
  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification and subject, or since qualifying as a teacher
  • A degree or equivalent
  • Qualification as a teacher
Competencies
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme
