Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the ICT team, driving innovation and excellence in educational technology.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to integrate technology effectively into the curriculum, enhancing student outcomes and academic success.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge ICT programs and initiatives, staying up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices.
  • Evaluate and improve ICT systems and resources, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Design and deliver training and support programs for staff on ICT tools and applications, fostering a culture of digital literacy and proficiency.
  • Manage budgets and procurement processes, ensuring effective resource allocation and optimal return on investment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, preferably with a strong background in educational technology.
  • Extensive experience in ICT education, preferably in a leadership role, with a proven track record of implementing successful educational technology initiatives.
  • Excellent knowledge of current trends and best practices in ICT education, coupled with strong leadership and management skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in budget management and procurement processes, with a passion for academic excellence and supporting students' digital literacy skills.
  • Ability to work full-time, starting in September, with a salary of approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
