We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our award-winning kitchen team at Madingley Hall, part of the University of Cambridge's Institute of Continuing Education. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to create and design menus that showcase our culinary expertise.
- Ensure the highest levels of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Liaise with the F&B team to manage client requests, menu specifics, and dietary requirements.
- Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and seasonal specials.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a culinary discipline.
- Basic food hygiene certificate.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen within a quality hospitality-led venue.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- 36 days annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays.
