About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at MDE Group UK. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory by providing planned preventative and predictive maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and planned maintenance repairs of equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Attend emergency repairs during unplanned shutdowns to minimize disruption to production.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment to extend their lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Install and replace electrical components as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Formal technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, such as NVQ Level 3 or C&G Level 3 Electrical.
  • Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a factory environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including condition-based monitoring systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
