About the Role:
Sanctuary Personnel invites applications for a full-time Ward Manager position in our client's specialist Eating Disorder Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the ward, overseeing a team of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with eating disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to provide effective care to patients
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Contribute to the development of the ward's policies and procedures
About the Ward:
The ward is a 10-bedded, mixed-gender unit dedicated to treating individuals with eating disorders. The team offers a diverse therapy programme aimed at helping patients recover, develop healthy eating behaviours, and build positive relationships with food and their weight.
Requirements:
- Relevant healthcare management qualification or experience at ward level
- Experience working with Eating Disorders
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
