About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to join our client's team in Bicester. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create cleaning instruction cards for all cleaning activities, in conjunction with the chemical supplier and operations team.
  • Ensure all adequate and appropriate resource is in place to meet all cleaning schedules and that the relevant staff are appropriately trained to carry out the cleaning tasks required, including COSHH training.
  • Lead the development of the business hygiene strategy, including building and maintenance of required cleaning areas.
  • Drive effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvement of personnel, equipment, and consumables through internal inspection and coaching.

Requirements:

  • Ideally level 3 Food Safety and HACCP, level 2 as a minimum.
  • COSHH Training.
  • Communication skills – for confident and professional liaison with internal and external customers and subordinates.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills with all areas of the business, suppliers and customers as required in areas of non-conformance and to bring about long-term solutions and drive right first time.
