**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Principal Ecologist to join our team in the UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with various clients, ensuring technical report quality, health and safety management, and budget control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and undertake ecological surveys and associated mitigation.
- Prepare and technically review ecology fee proposals and reports.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (2:1 or higher).
- Natural England minimum Level 1 bat survey licence and ideally great crested newt licence (Level 1 or above).
- Full clean driving licence.
