Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description

We're looking for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Omega Resource Group in Fareham. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to meet project requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex engineering solutions, ensuring they meet project needs and adhere to company processes.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and colleagues from various mechanical disciplines.
  • Validate formal requirements for mechanical systems against industry standards and demonstrate compliance.
  • Compile work estimates and plans to support project managers, tracking progress and adapting to changes.
  • Lead the development of junior engineers, enhancing their skills and contributing to team growth.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

The estimated salary range for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
