Senior Building Surveyor Job Opportunity

Hunter Dunning Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join their team in Romford, London. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for a full range of project and professional duties, working for both private and public sector clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project work including preparing tender documents and post-contract administration
  • Fire Risk Assessments (training can be provided)
  • Recording information from site and producing clear and concise written reports
  • Site surveys and reporting (Schedules of Condition, Defect Diagnosis, etc.)
  • Condition survey reports for planned maintenance and asset expenditure planning
  • Prepare tender documents for refurbishment and alteration works
  • Party wall surveying
  • Dilapidations
  • Specifications and schedules
  • Feasibility estimates
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in a consultancy background
  • MRICS or MCIOB or relevant experience all considered
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Refurbishment and or remedial project management experience
  • Professional services experience i.e. condition surveys and defect diagnosis
  • Fire Risk Assessment would be advantageous (however training can be provided)
What We Offer:
  • Salary of £55,000 - £70,000 (negotiable)
  • Holiday 22 days + Christmas + Bank Holidays (After 3 years, holiday increases by 1 day each year up to a max of 27 days)
