Job Title: Year 2 Primary Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Located in England, this position is available in the Greater London area, specifically in Hounslow.

Job Type:

A temporary, full-time opportunity as a Year 2 Teacher (Maternity Cover) is available.

Salary:

The salary for this position is negotiable based on experience, with a match to the M scale.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 students in accordance with the national curriculum.
  2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  3. Create a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being.
  5. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
Required Qualifications and Documents:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  2. A relevant degree in Education or a related field.
  3. Enhanced DBS on the update service or apply for a DBS with us.
  4. Right to work in the UK.
Education and Experience:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required. Prior experience teaching primary school students in the UK is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:
  1. A strong understanding of the national curriculum and teaching best practices.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  4. Effective classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Additional certifications or training in specific subject areas.
  2. Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students.
Working Conditions:
  1. Full-time, temporary position.
  2. Classroom-based teaching with occasional outdoor activities.
  3. Collaborative work environment with other teaching staff and school administration.
