Quantity Surveyor Job Description

A reputable civils infrastructure contractor is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join its team due to a significant increase in workload.

They specialize in the construction of associated water, wastewater treatment, and general utility infrastructure works, with plans to expand into other civil engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in estimating costs, quantities, and project timelines to ensure commercial viability.
  2. Identify and assess commercial risks to minimize potential losses.
  3. Assign work to subcontractors to optimize project delivery.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with at least 12 months of experience, preferably in a civil engineering contractor environment, and familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A Construction Related Qualification.
  2. Civils project experience on contracts up to £5M.
