Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity:

E3 Recruitment is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in our UK manufacturing plants. This role involves conducting electrical maintenance activities to ensure optimal factory performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in a dynamic production environment.

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £51,000 per annum, accompanied by a generous company pension matched up to 10% and an attractive holiday allowance.

Overtime opportunities are available at a minimum of 1.5 times the regular rate, with potential for higher rates.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct proactive and reactive electrical maintenance activities to ensure optimal factory performance
  • Carry out tasks related to motors, drives, inverters, and safety circuits
  • Perform basic fault finding on programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Receive extensive training on Siemens PLC S7 TIA portal systems and participate in further upskilling opportunities
Necessary Qualifications:
  • Recognized Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ and BTEC, City and Guilds)
  • Experience in electrical maintenance engineering, specifically with motors, drives, inverters, and safety circuits
  • Planned and reactive electrical maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve production machinery issues
