Make a Difference in the Lives of Elderly People

We are seeking kind, patient volunteers with their own car to transport elderly individuals to and from our weekly lunch club in Great Baddow. This is a fantastic opportunity to lend a helping hand and make a positive impact on the lives of others.

About the Role
  • Transport clients to and from the lunch club at St Mary's Church every Tuesday
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable journey for all clients

In exchange for your time and effort, you will be reimbursed for your mileage and undergo a free DBS check. Our volunteering opportunities are designed to be safe and secure, and you will not be required to enter anyone's home or share personal information.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Own a reliable, insured, taxed, and road-safe vehicle
  • Demonstrate patience, good humour, and kindness when interacting with clients
  • Be able to assist clients with walking frames, if necessary

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, which reflects the value we place on your time and expertise. In addition, you will receive reimbursement for your mileage and enjoy the satisfaction of making a real difference in the lives of others.
