Job Description

This is a senior leadership role that requires a highly motivated and organized individual who can effectively manage and lead a team of midwives.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Maternity Unit, managing budgets, and implementing local and national drivers in maternity services.

A key aspect of the role will be to provide guidance and support to junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Knowledge of risk management and clinical governance, relevant policies, and procedures are essential. Experience of working in a maternity setting and knowledge of local and national drivers in maternity services are desirable.
