Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Dorchester or Sheffield. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning advanced automated systems, including electromechanical systems. You will work closely with our team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret technical electrical and mechanical drawings. They must also be willing to travel to client sites for installation and commissioning of robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and commission advanced automated systems.
  • Detect and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Verify the safety and performance of electrical systems.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: HNC in an electrical-focused discipline or equivalent experience.
  2. Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical electrical and mechanical drawings.
  3. Additional Requirements:
    1. Full UK driving licence.
    2. Willingness to travel to customer sites.
    3. Eligibility to obtain security clearance (DBS checks).
