Senior IT Engineer

VIQU Limited is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide essential 2nd/3rd line technical support in an education setting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting IT in an educational environment and be responsible for maintaining IT systems, assisting staff and students with technical issues, and ensuring a smooth and secure IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide efficient on-site IT support and maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on computers, networks, and other IT equipment.
  • Utilize Active Directory to manage permissions and set up classrooms and organize IT equipment.
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades and communicate effectively with teachers, students, and staff members.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a 2nd line support role with experience using Active directory, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, and hardware support.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure systems and networking, with a willingness to undergo a DBS check.
  • A driving license and own transport are required for this role.
