About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Lead to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading engineering activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive standardisation across the platform
  • Manage the delivery of associated work scope using engineering resource
  • Identify and prioritise engineering priorities and plans
  • Act as the engineering contact for one fleet customer
  • Deliver contractual requirements and support project EAC/ROP activity
  • Establish and manage the required delivery team to support identified work
  • Support the Engineering Manager AVENTRA with development and management of engineers
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in relevant roles, management of maintenance and overhaul of equipment with safety critical systems in rail or similar industry
  • Experience in project planning and execution
  • Experience of working in a 24/7 operational environment
  • Knowledge of the railway industry and of its trends with specific reference to train maintenance
  • Rail vehicle engineering knowledge and understanding

  • Knowledge of Network Rail and infrastructure access
