### Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team at NALA. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

### Key Responsibilities

* Provide leadership and guidance on safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
* Develop and implement effective safeguarding strategies to prevent harm to students
* Collaborate with teachers, staff, and external agencies to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and investigations as needed
* Maintain accurate records and reports on safeguarding incidents and concerns

### Requirements

* Proven experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead in an FE College or similar environment
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with staff, students, and external partners
