Warehouse Order Picker Job Description

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is seeking a skilled Warehouse Order Picker to join their team at a National Retailer's Distribution Centre in Leicester.

This is a permanent opportunity with guaranteed employment after a successful probation period for the right candidate.

The Job:

  • Shifts are available on a day or afternoon basis, with the option to work overtime at time and a half.
  • The salary for this role is £11.90 per hour, with the potential for additional earnings through overtime.
  • A night shift is also available, working Sunday to Thursday from 10pm to 6am, with a salary of £13.90 per hour.
  • As a Warehouse Order Picker, you will be responsible for general warehouse order picking using hand scanners and LLOP or PPT trucks.

About You:

  • Previous experience in warehouse order picking using LLOP or PPT trucks is essential for this role.
  • You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a good level of English and communication skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail is required, as well as physical fitness for heavy lifting.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure are also essential.
