We are seeking a skilled and experienced GP Rating to join our team at Boskalis. As a GP Rating, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of the ship and its crew, including acting as a lookout in accordance with MCA Regulations.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel, including cleaning and ensuring all areas are adequately completed.
  • Support engineering staff as required, including assisting with planned maintenance tasks and reporting.
  • Carry out duties as a watchman, including anchoring and mooring.
  • Perform galley duties as directed by the Master.
  • Be competent in the use of all deck equipment, including cranes, RIBs, and anchor windlasses.
  • Act as Coxswain of the RIB as directed.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • ENG1 certification.
  • Basic Sea Survival training.
  • Fire Fighting certification.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Vessels are operated in line with Company, Client, and regulatory requirements.
  • A high level of safety awareness and compliance with Company procedures.
  • The ability to maintain and achieve safety-related KPIs.
  • The ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • RYA Powerboat Level 2 certification.
  • Mandatory NINA training.
Additional Requirements
  • 3 years UK residency.
  • Full driving license.
  • Current passport.
  • Able to work on a liveaboard vessel on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation.
