GAP Group LTD Regional Pump Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our region's maintenance team, this role is crucial in ensuring customers have access to reliable equipment through efficient servicing and maintenance of our pump services fleet.

The successful applicant will be responsible for traveling across regional depots and customer sites to identify and diagnose faults or damage to equipment, including pumps, hoses, and generators, while accurately updating service records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to regional depots and customer sites to perform repairs and maintenance
  • Identify and diagnose faults or damage to equipment
  • Accurately update service records
  • Maintain sound knowledge of pumps, hoses, and generators

This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy under pressure, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a pump engineer with relevant mechanical qualification or time served
  • Sound and current knowledge of pumps, hoses, and generators
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
  • Customer-focused approach and commitment to teamwork
  • Valid driving licence

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
