About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our team in Kesgrave, Suffolk. As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the Early Years curriculum
  • Fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Providing individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborating with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a strong partnership between home and school
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and EYTS (Early Years Teachers Status)
  • PgCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) and a strong academic record
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Reception curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and commitment to supporting students' learning and development
Salary

A competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £45,000 per annum is available for this Reception Teacher role.
