Automotive Technologist

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technologist to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing S.M.A.R.T repairs on customers' vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of manufacturers and models, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.

This position requires the ability to competently carry out repairs within set timescales, demonstrating attention to detail and quality in all aspects of the job. You will also have the responsibility of representing multiple manufacturers, ensuring that all work meets retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.

• To assess customer vehicles, utilizing expanding knowledge of manufacturers' features and specifications.
• To prepare vehicles accurately and efficiently for estimation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of IT estimating systems.
• To develop labour material and paint spraying/techniques to meet company standards and achieve customer satisfaction.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Experience working in the Automotive sector within a technical role.
• 2 years of S.M.A.R.T repair experience (ideally).
• ATA and VDA qualifications (beneficial but not essential).
• Fantastic communication skills and the ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
• The ability to work well under pressure, planning workload effectively.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus benefits including:
