About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Tax Advisory Services Manager to join our TAS Tax team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK tax practices, with experience in M&A transactions and client handling. This is a senior role that requires technical tax application, extensive interaction with clients, and great interpersonal and organisational skills.



Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax structuring advice and undertaking tax due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients. You may also have the opportunity to work on public company transactions, primarily on AIM and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.




  • Lead discussions with and present findings to clients and legal advisers
  • Manage relationships with target management teams
  • Work alongside FDD and SPA Advisory teams to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Oversee due diligence analysis and review reports
  • Prepare and review structuring reports based on proposed acquisition structures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive opportunities across TAS, Corporate Finance, and GT's international member firms
  • Develop business development proposals and present to prospective clients
  • Manage project budgets and fees
  • Demonstrate ability to produce well-supported technical research
  • Ongoing training and development of team members


About You


The ideal candidate will be a qualified chartered accountant or tax adviser (ACA, CA CTA, ADIT or equivalent) with a good grounding in UK tax practices. We welcome candidates with experience in other areas such as transfer pricing, R&D, VAT, employment taxes, stamp duty, and share transactions/share option schemes.

Salary and Benefits
