Geotechnical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Consultant to join our team at EXP. As a Geotechnical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing geotechnical expertise to support the delivery of projects in the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geotechnical site investigations and analysis
• Prepare proposal and scopes and budgets for geotechnical projects
• Coordinate subcontractors/subconsultants and EXP design and field staff to execute assigned projects
• Act as Engineer of Record (EoR) and engineer support on project assignments
• Prepare design submissions, Letters of Assurance documents, and other project deliverables

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geological/geotechnical engineering
• Registration as a professional engineer with PEO
• 5 to 9 years of relevant experience, preferably with Greater Toronto Areas soils
• Strong technical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player with proven ability to work independently or as a member of project teams
• Excellent organizing, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills using word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics applications
