About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Advisor for our NHS 111 service. As a Clinical Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to patients over the phone, using your clinical expertise and knowledge of the NHS Pathways system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients over the phone, using the NHS Pathways system and your existing clinical knowledge and expertise.
  • Apply your clinical expertise to assess an individual's health condition and provide advice on the most appropriate course of action.
  • Work within the NHS Pathways system content to advise service users, their representatives, and Health Advisors.
  • Understand, adhere to, and promote the principles of information governance, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, and risk management.
Requirements
  • Registered nurse or paramedic with post-registration training and experience in at least two healthcare settings or specialties relevant to the profession.
  • Ability to commit to 8 weeks of full-time training and one of our rolling rota patterns, covering our 24-hour operational period.
  • Passionate about providing a service you would recommend to your friends and family.
