Job Summary

CV Library is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV driver to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting plant equipment, ensuring that all regulatory and safety standards are met.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits and training opportunities. If you have a good working knowledge of the rail and construction industry, strong geographical skills, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect plant equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle checks and defaults
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

Key Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Hold current certificates for HGV, Driver CPC, and ADR
  2. Possess class 1 and class 2 driving licences
  3. Hold Hiab tickets and be PTS qualified
  4. Have Load and Secure Certification
  5. Prior experience working in a plant environment
  6. Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
