Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Expleo Engineering UK Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and installing manufacturing processes and equipment for a global automotive manufacturer based in the Chester area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design process feasibility and co-design product and process
  • Style assessment, quotation, and requirements monitoring
  • Assembly integration and validation plan, digital ECM quotation, and management
  • Define list of parts needed for mock-up and trials
  • Participation in meetings, technical review, and traceability/conformity/safety tightening
  • Management of DST and assembly, contribution to SP2 assessment, and assembly process adaptation
  • Elaboration of assembly sequence, quotation of solutions, and definition of operating process and process sheets
  • Development of product and process feasibility for assembly, technical proposals, and creation of requests for tools/equipment
Requirements:
  • HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Engineering
  • High level of understanding of manufacturing process and procedures
  • Knowledge and experience of automotive process engineering, project management, and design/installation of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, strong cross-functional team leadership skills, and ability to work autonomously
