Job Description: Teaching Assistant for Children with Special Needs

About the Position:
We are looking for a teaching assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a dynamic and inclusive school environment. This full-time, temporary role involves working as part of an established team to provide one-to-one or small group support to children aged 2-19 years.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have experience working with SEND children, a caring and positive attitude, ability to build strong relationships with children and young people, understanding of child safety protocols, and willingness to undergo a DBS check and register with the Update Service. This role requires daily communication with teachers and other staff members to ensure seamless support for students.

Compensation and Benefits:
£86-£13 per hour (dependent on experience). Daily rates paid weekly by our Payroll team, pension contributions (subject to qualifying period), FREE training opportunities for professional development, and a generous refer-a-friend bonus scheme.
