About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for a reputable Secondary school in Weston-Super-Mare. The school is a large mainstream institution with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is committed to providing Continuous Professional Development throughout the year. The position is open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance, the school would consider extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback

Requirements:
  • Recent Graduate with a 2:1 or higher
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • Qualified Teaching Status

Eligibility:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
  • Provide two professional child-related references
