We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Staff Nurse to join the Extended Community Care Team in the Helensburgh and Lomond area.
This is a part-time, permanent position, with 22.3 hours per week, including weekend working and cover for late shifts until 10pm.
The post holder will be based in the Helensburgh/Lochside area.
As a Community Staff Nurse, you will work collaboratively with Community Nurses and other professionals to deliver planned programmes of care to individuals, families, carers, and communities in the area.
You will contribute to the delivery of healthcare in the community, assisting in driving the reablement agenda, working directly with the multi-disciplinary team to prevent hospital admission and facilitate discharge.
It is essential that you are a First-Level Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and experience and skills relevant to community nursing. Previous community nursing experience is desirable, but other levels of experience, including newly qualified nurses, will also be considered.
You will possess good communication skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and be able to provide evidence of continuing professional development.
You must be a car driver/owner and hold a full driving licence.
