CE Planner – Civil Engineering

Ethan James is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor delivering high-profile projects across the West Midlands.

As a Civil Engineering Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in the success of our team. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate and evaluate the impact of changes (Compensation Events) to establish an extension of time for the Key and Completion dates.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and evaluate the impact of changes (Compensation Events) to establish an extension of time for the Key and Completion dates.
  2. Liaise with the central compensation event team to incorporate the evaluated time into the overall monthly delay analysis submission.
  3. Liaise with the Sub Lot Planning, Project Controls, and Commercial departments daily to ensure time recovery and proactively build a workload of events in advance of the central teams' inclusion in their monthly analysis.
  4. Establish and implement the project requirements for Project Controls.
  5. Support the production and delivery of the Performance Measurement Baseline and Performance Measurement Updates.
  6. Capture and integrate current and forecast programme, budget, cost, and risk at asset and sub-asset level.
  7. Ensure that appropriate lean, coordinated, and visual performance metrics are set up to assist the Project Team in timely project delivery and performance improvement.
  8. Knowledge of the CEMAR contract platform.
