Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Water/Wastewater EIT. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the design and development of water and wastewater treatment systems, working closely with project engineers and clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating detailed designs for water and wastewater treatment systems and collection systems under instruction from the Project Engineer
  • Preparing plans for water and wastewater systems, writing specifications, analysis, and study-level reports for distribution and collection systems, determining appropriate design methods, equipment sizing, and selection, and collaborating directly with owners
  • Conducting quality control reviews of completed designs
  • Performing other duties as needed
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field
  • An Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
