About the Role
Lookers Mercedes Benz of Brighton is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic workshop team. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology to identify any issues or potential problems.
- Perform vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Carry out any additional repairs once authorized by the customer, ensuring all work is properly documented and warranty repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Take customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified and the vehicle is safe to drive.
- Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician is essential.
- Self-motivation, ambition, and a willingness to learn are key qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.
- A full UK driving license is required, and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is necessary.
- Previous experience working with Mercedes brand is advantageous, although not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
- A MOT license would be preferable.
