Job Title: Aerospace Safety Manager

Job Summary:

Morgan Ryder is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join their team in Blackburn. As a key member of the site management team, you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety and ensuring compliance in a medium-risk manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate medium-risk activities.
  3. Ensure the site is compliant with current HSE legislation and best practices.
  4. Lead safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Deliver HSE training and support to employees to promote a strong safety culture.
  6. Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE matters on site.
  7. Collaborate with the site management team to continuously improve HSE standards.

Requirements:

  1. NEBOSH qualified (National General Certificate or equivalent) is essential.
  2. Demonstrable experience in HSE Management within a manufacturing environment - preferably FMCG.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation, regulations, and practices.
  4. Experience with medium-risk environments, conducting risk assessments and leading safety initiatives.
