Job Title: Senior Software Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Lead to join our team at Arqiva. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality software solutions and mentoring junior engineers.

About the Role
  • Lead the development of complex software projects and initiatives, ensuring best practices are adhered to.
  • Develop robust solutions and provide oversight during the implementation phase.
  • Serve as a technical mentor, supporting and upskilling other engineers.
  • Contribute actively to the development and delivery of software features and bug fixes.
  • Provide expert input to product lifecycle decisions.
About You
  • Excellent software development expertise, with a focus on writing high-performance, scalable, and secure code.
  • Strong mentorship skills, guiding less experienced team members towards excellence.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern software architectures, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Deep understanding of the full software development and deployment lifecycle, including CI/CD practices.
