Civil Engineering Site Manager

The Company
We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Site Manager to join our team at CV Library. Our client is a well-established civil Engineering contractor with a strong reputation in the industry.
The Project and the Role
As a Site Manager, you will play a key role in the civils phase of a new build industrial development in a major project. Your responsibilities will include working through the construction of the concrete roads, car park, and drainage work. The role will see you working through paperwork on site, heavily relying on computer and tablet work. You will also be involved in site meetings and working closely with the management team.
Essential Requirements
• SMSTS certification
• First Aid training
• Valid CSCS Card
It is also essential that you hold the experience below:
• Proven industry expertise with a track record of successfully managing civils projects
• Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working on civils projects
• Experience working with RAMS, site documentation, using site tablets for QA and being involved in site meetings

• Capacity to prioritise health and safety effectively
• Good knowledge of construction laws and regulations
• A solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to finishing tasks
• In-depth understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and plumbing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a thorough meticulous eye for detail
