Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our client's team in Portsmouth. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical plant, including emergency lighting, control panels, fire alarms, power supplies, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and inspect electrical equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly
  • Maintain and repair electrical plant, including emergency lighting, control panels, fire alarms, and power supplies
  • Work on various commercial sites, including railways, local county council properties, and other commercial spaces
  • Attend emergency breakdowns as part of a call-out team and apply emergency repairs when required
  • Work collaboratively with the client's team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Specialist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Valid driving license and ability to use a company van
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
