About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Purovets in Epsom. As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for leading a team of veterinary professionals and providing expert animal care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of veterinary professionals, including vets, RVNs, and veterinary care assistants
  • Provide expert animal care to our clients, including routine surgical and medical cases
  • Develop and implement training programs for the team
  • Work closely with the practice manager to ensure the smooth operation of the practice
  • Contribute to the development of the practice's policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon or in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for training and developing the team
  • Specific interest in ophthalmology, imaging, or cardiology
